Kathmandu — Qatar’s Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday that eight additional people have been injured following an Iranian missile attack, bringing the total number of আহত individuals to 16. Authorities also reported limited material damage in several locations.
In a statement, the Ministry of Interior (Qatar) said security agencies and civil defense teams immediately activated emergency response plans to ensure public safety, maintain essential services, and address the unfolding situation.
The ministry urged residents to strictly follow official instructions, remain indoors, avoid going outside unless absolutely necessary, and refrain from touching debris or unidentified objects. Citizens were also advised to report emergencies by calling 999.
Officials emphasized the importance of relying only on verified information from official sources and warned against spreading rumors, images, or videos related to the incident. Legal action will be taken against those found violating these directives, the statement added.
Specialized teams remain deployed around the clock to contain potential risks and manage the impact of the attack, as regional tensions continue to escalate.
