Rautahat — In preparation for the upcoming House of Representatives election on Falgun 21, 2083 BS, Rautahat District has imposed a complete ban on foreign-plated vehicles throughout the district. The district administration announced that the restriction will be in effect from Falgun 17 to Falgun 21, 2083 BS.

The move, issued by the District Administration Office, aims to ensure a free, fair, and peaceful electoral environment. According to a notice signed by Assistant Chief District Officer Jitendra Kumar Yadav, the ban addresses potential security challenges and unwanted activities from border areas during the five-day election period.
