KATHMANDU: Police in riot gear stormed a rally in New Baneshwor on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck. Police have arrested some protesters.
On Saturday, various organizations had staged demonstrations from Maitighar to New Baneshwor with slogans calling MCC a traitor. Police have interfered in the demonstration.
There was a significant participation of the youth in the demonstration led by the tenant concerned society.
