Kathmandu. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the United States has used Pakistan as a mercenary in Afghanistan.
Khan told CNN on Wednesday that the United States had used his country as a mercenary.
“We want stability and peace in Afghanistan after the Taliban took over,” he was quoted as saying in an interview with the Indian Express.
I have not spoken to US President Joe Biden since the Taliban took over. The United States used us as mercenaries.
“US President Joe Biden is very busy right now,” he said, adding that Pakistan-US relations were not limited to phone calls. “The relationship between Pakistan and the United States is bilateral,” he said.
“Pakistan has always wanted the best for Afghanistan and is working to uplift Afghanistan,” he said.
