Kathmandu. The arrest of Sunita Sah, vice-chairperson of the National Unity Campaign, has drawn serious attention of the campaign.
Police have arrested Sah, vice-chairman of the campaign, for burning a hoarding board with a photo of Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut at the Kankalini temple in Bhardaha, Saptari, which is considered the center of Hindu faith.
It is mentioned in the press release issued by the campaign that Vice President Sah was arrested by the male police without taking care of the female identity.
Similarly, there is a conspiracy to make a hoarding board in the place of sacrificing the picture of the Chief Minister made by the Muslim community in the temples of Hindus.
It is mentioned in the release that it is a sad act to allow the temple committees to become the cadres of the Chief Minister even after installing hoarding boards.
According to the campaign, the Hindu activists were forced to burn the hoarding boards after the team including the vice-chairman of the campaign urged the Hanuman Municipality to remove the hoarding boards.
The campaign has also demanded the immediate release of Sunita Sah, vice-chairperson of the campaign, who was arrested by the police for removing and burning hoarding boards. Central Chairman of the campaign, Vinay Yadav, said that the campaign would be forced to launch a strong agitation if Vice-Chairman Sah was not released.
