Kathmandu. Nepali Congress leader NP Saud has said that even an inch of Nepali land will not be tolerated. Addressing a protest rally against the government at Khalanga, the district headquarters of Darchula, on Monday, he said that even if an inch of Nepali land was encroached, it would not be tolerated.
“Even now, there are activities at the border. The Nepali Congress is ready to go to Nepal to protest if anyone crosses the border even an inch during the ongoing activities on those borders, ”said Saud.
He also expressed respect to the people of Darchula who have been fighting for nationalism. “I have fought the way my brothers and sisters in Darchula have fought on the issue of nationality. I want to respect that, I want to do it in peace, ”said leader Saud.
He also objected that the government could not protest when the Chinese side encroached on Nepali land in Humla. “You are the one to amend the map when there is a border dispute with India. When there was a border dispute with India, you did not raise your voice in the diplomatic arena and engaged in inciting the people in the general assembly. It is as bad when India crosses the border as it is when China crosses the border. ”
He said that the decision of the Supreme Court on the issue of dissolution of the House of Representatives would be acceptable to the Congress. “The Nepali Congress believes in the rule of law. Obey the rule of law. Respects the decision of the Supreme Court. The Nepali Congress will move forward as per the decision of the Supreme Court, ”said Saud.
He claimed that not only Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli but also former prime ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal and Bamdev Gautam were equally guilty in the dissolution of the House of Representatives. “What this government has done is not done by one person, KP Olli. Prachanda, Madhav Nepal, Bhalnath and Vamdev Gautam are all guilty in this. Both Prachanda and Oli should take responsibility for this fault, ”said Saud.
