Kathmandu. Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal-Prachanda-Madhav faction Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) has said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has brought the idea of constructing a Ram temple in Madi with the objective of ‘Prachanda can be completed’. He said this while interacting with journalists after inspecting the City Hall and Pulchowk Gondrang 6-lane road, the pride of the metropolis under construction in Bharatpur, Chitwan.
Addressing a public meeting in Chitwan on January 3, Prime Minister Oli had questioned who had stopped Prachanda from saying that Ram’s birthplace was Ayodhyapuri. He said that when he went to Madi for Prachanda’s election campaign, he announced that he would make Madi a gem, but he said that he could not do anything after Prachanda’s ‘rotten potato’ came out. A few days later, Oli unveiled the idols of Ram and Sita in Baluwatar.
“Archaeological excavations have proved that Ayodhya is in my constituency. It has been confirmed that Ram was born in my constituency. If it can be established, I will be happiest among the leaders.” Why should I oppose it? ‘He said,’ He thinks that he brought it to end Prachanda. Prachanda would be even happier if it is proved that Ayodhya and Ram were born in his constituency. ‘
He accused Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of talking about the Ram temple only for politics and for a campaign to end Prachanda.
‘My challenge is to tell him that you have given such a big bluff, what have you done to establish and prove it by archeological exploration? There is no flies, no snails, no noise? ‘ Prachanda said, “I have said that I will help you by going ahead and proving without making any noise.” He said that Oli himself would fall into the trap if he thought that he would run a campaign to end Prachanda by politicizing the Ram temple issue.
He recalled that he had taken the initiative to bring the City Hall and 6-lane road under construction in Bharatpur and Oli had tried to stop it. Asked if he would be the next prime minister if the parliament is reconstituted, Prachanda said he had no greed for the post. He also said that the election announced by Oli could not take place.
