Gauradaha, 5 February . Federal Limbuwan Manch Nepal, affiliated to the Federal Democratic National Forum, today staged a demonstration in Gauradaha constituency of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
In the presence of hundreds of people from different villages, the forum staged a demonstration in Gauradaha. People from Jhapa, Morang and Sunsari districts were evacuated to participate in the demonstration.
Before the demonstration, the party had held a rally in Gauradaha in the presence of a large number of party workers. Speaking at the protest rally held after Rayali, the central leadership including the central chairman of the forum Kumar Lingden spoke. After Prime Minister Oli decided to come to lay the foundation stone of the industrial park to be built in Damak on March 29, the forum staged a demonstration on the issue of compensation for the landowners who gave land to the park. Limbuwan has held an open demonstration rally in favor of the displaced people after the clean park, which is being built on thousands of marriages connected to Gauradaha, Kamal and Damak municipalities of the district, has made them victims.

The meeting was chaired by Raju Rai, spokesperson of the Limbuwan Volunteer Central Command, and was addressed by Kumar Lingden (Mirak), Central Chairman of the party. In his address, Chairman Linden said that the federalists would bring the Oli government to the streets as the current government is corrupt, autocratic and traitorous. Strongly objecting to the government’s attempt to create a public uprising in the name of development, he accused the Oli brand of not being anti-development but satanas.

Talking about the uprising of hundreds of people in Damak during the construction of the industrial park, he said that if the park is to be built, the facts should be made public. What is Clean Park? What happens He also urged the Limbuwani people to be aware and start work only after bringing out the truth.
He warned that it would not be meaningful and would not be acceptable to Limbuwan if it was not included in every development project within the Limbuwan land.
At the meeting, the party’s Jhapa district in-charge Bhanu Bhattarai also demanded that Clean Park be made public as it was only Prime Minister Oli’s election slogan. Stating that they are not against development but exposing monopoly in the name of development, he said that they will not betray dalits, janajatis and squatters.

In the assembly, Dalit Mukti Manch leader Balram Rishidev strongly condemned the Oli government and protested against the oppression of Dalits in the name of development. All the Dalits, Janajatis and Adivasis of Limbuwan, who forced Dalits and Adivasis and Janajatis to take compensation for their land under the pretext of Damak Clean Park to be built in Damak, warned to retaliate.

Khagendra Bhattarai, coordinator of Damak Clean Park Struggle Committee, said that he had submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister, CDO of Jhapa District, Damak Land Revenue Office, Damak Napi, Office of Clean Park Management Committee and all other political parties. He said that only the Limbuwan Party had hoped to defend its rights as the concerned bodies did not hold a hearing.
Coordinator Bhattarai said that if his demand was not addressed and heard, he would be forced to move ahead with further agitation programs.
