Kathmandu . The Islamic Association of Nepal, an organization of Muslims, has organized a program in Kathmandu. The Kathmandu Valley unit under the association is going to hold the program in the presence of the Muslim community. The event will be held at the hall of the Islamic Association of Nepal near Durbar Marg Clock Tower.
There are four main speakers in the program. Seraj Ahmed, Nurul Hoda, Arif Ansari and Abul Kalam are the speakers.
Arif Ansari, who was the speaker, was arrested in India some time ago on rape charges. He was also jailed for some time on a rape charge.
Ansari had raped a girl friend studying in an engineering college in Hyderabad. He had been raping his girlfriend for a year by making various threats.
Indian police had taken action against Ansari on the basis of a complaint lodged by a 20-year-old student of Guru Nanak Engineering College, Ibrahimpatnam. Ansari was arrested by Indian police on December 14, 2018. And was produced in court and remanded in judicial custody.
After the investigation, Indian police said, “After Ansari stopped talking to him, he was blackmailing and sexually abusing him by threatening to share his private photos with others.”
Police added, “After befriending the victim in 2017, Ansari took her to Ibrahimpatnam’s room and started raping her.” Since then, he has continued to sexually abuse her. Ansari had been blackmailing the girl friend and the girl had contacted the police as she could not bear the sexual abuse of Ansari.
Ansari’s rape case is still pending in a Hyderabad court.
